I joined Destination Fitness when the Rice Lake Gym was first opened. There are many reasons that I have been a regular member ever since. The most important of these include:

Destination Fitness helped me regain everything I lost during pregnancy and find my fitness drive again. It is near my house, has amazing staff that both encourages me while pushing my limits, and gave me the all around physical fitness my body and mind both needed. It wasn’t until this point in my life that I fully realized that fitness is an ongoing journey in my life rather than merely a means to an end.

Destination Fitness is a fitness studio for people of all ages and abilities. When I started 6 years ago, I felt fine but noticed staying fit wasn't as easy in my 50s. My first class included a dead bug and I realized I had no core muscles. Wow. How had that happened? The best part was, the classes were fun. Lots of laughter made class go by quickly. The classes change every month which is great as I get bored easily! There are a variety of classes & instructors to choose from each month. I have increased the weights I use, I can do a frog stand and V-ball passes don't phase me. I will NEVER like mountain climbers with the TRX but I do them and feel better afterwards. I am noticeably stronger which feels great. Being strong is fun. At 61, I feel better than I did 10 years ago and I plan to say the same thing in another 10 years! Thanks, Julie and Mike. You rock.
